HI, I’M Jackson
I’m a 23 y/o natural light photographer based out of Benton, KY! Shooting for the past 6 years has shown me my LOVE for portrait photography. Weddings & seniors, especially. I’m so very thankful for ALL of my clients that have allowed me to capture such special moments in their lives, and those who have followed me throughout this journey. Jumping into this business straight out of high school was tough, not gonna lie. BUT, it has stuck with me through all of my *many* changes of hobbies, interests, and phases of life, over the years, and that’s how I know that it was meant to be. It really has shaped and influenced every ounce of me as a person, and I’m so thankful for it.
While we’re on the topic of interests - I absolutely love to travel. Getting out of Marshall County is, quite literally, one of my favorite things to do. Seeing and experiencing these places, all over the country, has broadened my perspective on just about everything in life. It has shown me just how little you actually need to live a happy life, and how your perspective changes everything. Though it doesn’t sound like it after what I just said, I DO have a strong love for my home town. There’s something to be said about the kindness and support that this community shows, and it has influenced me greatly. I have many dreams and ambitions to move across the country, but I’ll never forget where I started!

A little about me
My #1 goal is to make you COMFORTABLE. I know how stressful it can be getting in front of a camera for the first time, especially with somebody you've never met before! Seriously - Do. Not. Worry. I do this almost every day! And I have all sorts of different tricks up my sleeve to make you look like you do this all the time, while still being YOU. I’m personable! We’ll talk to each other like we’ve known each other for years.
I'll direct you! No longer will you have to sit and awkwardly wonder what to do in front of a camera. I will show you exactly what to do! Every time, I'll pose and critique you so that you never have to wonder what to do next.
I’m so inspired by other photographers. I think it’s so amazing how two photographers could be at the same spot, shooting the same subject, but two totally different photos can be produced. It goes to show that everything about it is truly an art. As a photographer, so many decisions have to be made, about so many different things, when creating a photo. From shooting to editing, beginning to end, you’re truly creating a work of art with every photo you put out there.
Coffee does, in fact, have quite the influence on my creativity too.
Every wedding, every shoot, I see the world through a whole new lens. Your story will be different from the last, and this ignites my passion all over again.
You wouldnt know it, but i’m quite the introvert. Pair that with a thriving passion for traveling and outdoors, and what do you get? You guessed it- that weird kid who loves camping, a little too much. I’m “that guy”, who spends all his money decking out his 4Runner with a bunch of crap he’ll probably never use. Don’t ask me why I’ve got a ladder on the back of my car. It’s obvious. To climb up on my matching, full length, roof rack that I’ve never used in my life. I love it though.
I also love the Lord! I was saved back in 2018, and Jesus has used this business to shape me in so many ways. From the beginning, I knew I struggled with meeting and talking with new people. I would seriously have so much anxiety about directing and posing clients, and it would distract me from doing good work. I would get so overwhelmed with all of it, and was at a standstill for the longest time. And then I met God! He came in and gave me a reason for why I was doing all of this, why I struggle so much, and used that for me to get to know Him more. I still struggle with those anxieties, but my perspective on them has changed so much. Seeing me know, you’d never know I have to deal with these struggles. God has changed me so much.
That’s a little sneak peek into my life and a few of my favorite things. No matter who and where we are, we’re all souls wandering this beautiful earth, with a different story to share. No tale is one and the same. And that’s why I LOVE documenting stories (and hopefully yours too!)”
Camping, coffee, and creating.
I thrive, outdoors. Underneath some pine trees, in the middle of the woods, is where you can find me. With this job, I work to live. I’ll work really hard for months, then rest for weeks at a time, in the most amazing places. It’s what I love to do. This job brings so much flexibility, it’s truly a gift, and i’m so thankful for it. I don’t take it for granted. While I’m traveling though, i’m never not working. I’m always planning and scheduling, months in advance, for upcoming opportunities. I’m also always adding to my Print Shop, which is another way I fuel these adventures!
With my introverted mind, i’m always thinking about something. I like to keep myself busy, always. Whether that's daydreaming about owning and building out a camper van (one day🤞), or Googling my next trip, i’m always planning something. Researching is one of my favorite things to do, oddly enough. I will literally Google Street View my next destination, before I book it, lol. I like to know all the in’s and out’s. “I bet this guy’s fun at parties”. Yeah, whatever man.
That mindset is what sets me apart, though! Beforehand, I will literally plan out your entire senior session, or wedding, for you, with your help of course. I almost always have a backup plan, and try to be prepared for anything.
